Electronic Reporter

Functionality: Electronic repoter is how D365 creates customer and supplier documents.

Summary: Much improved over the last few years, we recomend using Electronic Reporter over the previous recommendation of SSRS.

Additional info: Microsoft provide a library of templates to download and start with if you make a mistake.

Financial Reporter

Functionality: Comes with D365 for management accounts.

Summary: Used to create Month end / year end accounts from the General Ledger & budgets.

Additional info: Comes with 20x templates to start your configuration with.

Analytics

Functionality:Built in analytics, based on PowerBI

Summary: There are 68 built in analytics.

Additional info: Connecting PowerBI to D365, will require a 3rd Microsoft data layer for sales ledger and purchase ledger transactions.
